Maryland’s Alex Len was voted the ACC Rookie of the Week on Monday, and Virginia’s Mike Scott earned the ACC Player of the Week honor. Len averaged 13.5 points and 10.0 rebounds in two games as Maryland split two games. The Antratsit, Ukraine, native had a double-double in his first career ACC game, with 12 points and 11 rebounds and two blocked shots in a 79-74 loss at NC State.
Without a doubt, LSU was better off with Crowton as the OC. Undoubtedly that was the worst game plan ever conceived by an undefeated team. Why in the world didn’t Les Miles go to the back up QB? How many bubbles screens could LSU run unsuccessfully. Miles had 5 weeks to prepare for this game. I will never watch another LSU Bama game again. Next year’s match belongs on ESPN3. Pathetic!!!!
Nick Saban successfully attacked with the pass and made … Read More »

Anxiously awaiting Wednesday night–here is my take on Sunday’s game
Moral victories stink but I’ll take this one. The Terps continued to have those spells of no offense but basically they fought to the end, and kept the game very close. there was not an ounce of quit on the court.
Len, Stoglin and Moseley had the 49 I thought it would be necessary to win but PeShon and Nick were quiet scoring. Alex had a double double (12,11) but … Read More »
She did it again!!! Down by 2 with 3 seconds left, Alyssa drove the bucket and made a difficult reverse layup to send the game into OT. The Terps dominated OT to win 78-72.Lynetta Kizer seems to be getting her game back scoring 10 with 6 rebounds. The Terps move to 16-0 and 3-0 in conference play.
WIZARDS HEAD COACH FLIP SAUNDERS
“There really is not much to say, disappointment, embarrassment. I do not know if words can explain. We are trying to find out what we can do to get them going. I thought Trevor Booker played with passion and played hard. We have to get everybody playing like that.”
Can you hear the whispers. This was a disaster today. Listen I always have been passionate about the Wizards but today was unbelievable. I agree that … Read More »
