This is a huge day for Maryland football. 5’9 210 athlete Kenneth Goins has verballed to to the University of Maryland. Tremendous athletes from Baltimore’s football powerhouse have eluded the Terps since 1984. Perhaps this triggers a change.

Yes it was a heartbreaking end to a season that had so much promise. For much of the year the Terps were ranked #1 or #2 and entered the home game tonight at #5 in the NCAAs.
But the better team won tonight. Louisville had many stronger opportunities and despite some great saves from Maryland’s goalie, they were able to dent the nets 4 times led by Colin Rolfe.

The No. 12 Maryland wrestling team (6-0) won 25 of 30 matches and junior Josh Asper and redshirt sophomore Christian Boleyremained undefeated as the Terps picked up three wins over No. 21 Central Michigan, Bucknell and Northern Iowa at the Northeast Duals on Saturday. A quick turnaround seems to favor No. 8 Maryland, which routed CS–Bakersfield 114-83 on Saturday with its largest margin of victory in nearly six years.
