So now it is official. Pe”Shon Howard, Haukur Palsson, Ashton Pankey, Mychal Parker, and Terrell Stoglin comprise ESPN”s 21st Ranked recruiting class for 2010. My take is that Pe”Shon is vastly underrated and would make this class ranked higher. There are a ton of points that must be replaced and Stoglin, Howard , and Co will be called on … Read More »

It’s a great day for Maryland when they can land a first class kid like St Anthony’s Ashton Pankey. Chuck Driesell led the recruiting effort but Coach Williams was also cited by Pankey for being deeply involved in the process. Just a little speculation on the Hippo situation.  The Memphis websites all claim that Hippo is a major target for for the Tigers. However, Hippo is not making the leap supposedly waiting till spring to announce. I wonder  how the possibility of Ashton Pankey’s committment to the Terps will effect the whole scenario. Also what effect will his mate at the Miller School, Mychal Parker (a future Terp) have on the decision.

terrapintimes.com reports that 2010 PF Hippolyte Tsafack enjoyed his trip to Memphis for Midnight Madness and has delayed his decision on where to attend college until Spring. This even heightens the anticipation of the arrival of St Anthony’s Ashton Pankey to College Park for his official visit on Friday.
