Some observations on a pathetic Championship game:
–The Big Guy Alex Oriakhi was the difference tonight 11 points, 11 rebounds 4 blocks and he just totally frustrated Matt Howard.
–I thought Shelvin Mack should have been given the ball way before the game was hopelessly over.
–As I predicted the team with the best player, Kemba Walker would win as usually happens.

Has there ever been a worse coach down the wire then John Calipari. A 25 ft 3 point shot was the best play he could design with a berth in the National Championship at stake? Guess who I am not rooting for. Let the VCU -Butler winner be declared the NCAA Champion because that’s where the equal playing field ends. Some more comments:
1400 improper phone calls and 1000 improper text messages to recruits is what the UConn coaching staff were found to be responsible for. The damages–a 3 game suspension next year for Calhoun in 3 conference games and the loss of 1 scholarship.

Only Coach Calipari could lead this Kentucky team into 2nd tier status. Jim “Who me?”Calhoun at least can coach.
I would bet Jim Calhoun knows what his players had for dinner 6 nights ago. But he didn’t know of any of the improprieties committed by his staff. These sanctions which are very mild do not reflect well upon the AD, Jeff Hathaway as well. We all know the shake and bake (as Cavanaugh would say) that Calhoun pulled to steal Rudy Gay from Maryland. Sickening.
These are in order of how I feel they could happen:
—Goes to spotlight city ==New York—to play alongside Amare
—Stays in Cleveland –why I don’t know
—Goes to Miami—to play with Dwade and Bosh—would be his best play–no state Tax===surrounded by superstars
Villanova 69 Pitt 50 Pitt seems like it has run out of gas, while Villanova humiliated Duke by 23. Jay Wright has his guys playing the most unselfish brand of basketball imaginable. Louisville might be too good though but when Montrose sends Yarou and Armwood next year , look out.
