This is almost too bizarre to believe. Repeating his antics from last year, Agent Zero has declared he is ready to return to the Wizards lineup, to help the Wizards close out their current disastrous year (15-56 currently.) It seems like no one else from the Wizards organization knew anything about the decision. Gilbert has missed the entire season with a knee injury after receiving a near max contract. Compound this loss with the injury to Brendan Heywood and thus 2008-09 became a season lost. However it is crucial for the Wizards continue to lose in order to increase its chances in the Blake Griffin sweepstakes. Blake Griffin along with a healthy Arenas would make Washington an instant contender. This is why insanity reigns at the Verizon Center.
