The Terps held Purdue to 18 2nd half points. Darryl Morsell just smothered Carsen Edwards in the 2nd half. Edwards finished 8-27 for 24 points. Down the wire Carsen forced trey after trey down the wire.
Jalen Smith led the way with 16 points on 7-15 shooting.
Double double for Bruno who finished with 12 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists, and probably 4 hockey assists.
The Terps wound up 26-52 (50%) from the field. Purdue and Maryland each had 41 rebounds.
Great night for Turgeon and the squad.
These 630 starting times have to cease as much of the crowd of 14,813 really didn’t arrive til about 7-715.
