When a NBA team plans its whole season on attempting to get the pick, this is what can happen. The cellar dwellers seem to remain in their status. There are rumors of a caron Butler for Tracy McGrady trade which would start the breakup of the Wizards as we have known them. It’s rebuilding time for the Bullets and next years team will not even resemble the 2010 squad.

Wizards

The U, Indiana, Georgia Tech, and Maryland were in the thought process and Greg Echenique elected to transfer to Creighton. Period.

Carolina now is 1-5 on the road. They are not a power!! Early in the game Roy subbed the entire starting team and lectured them while his Freshman non starters were playing. I wonder how they felt when they watched the replay.  I said it 3 weeks ago—Maryland might be much better then most people think in the ACC. Perhaps I wasn’t in the best of moods after watching the Terps lose a heartbreaker to the Demon Deacons. During the Kentucky Florida game, Dickie V was praising Calipari to the sky. Calipari had 3 straight 30 win seasons, he was trying to be the 2nd coach to take 3 different schools to the final four, and on and on. NEVER did he say how he left 2 programs in disgrace or did he mention how he coached his Memphis … Read More »

On October 24, I wrote of the idiocy of the way Lane Kiffin wasted a chance to defeat Alabama. He settled for a 40 yard field goal from his kicker who was having a miserable day. The kicker missed –I called it the way it was–and Volunteer nation blasted me for criticizing their coach. Last night , Kiffin said goodbye to Rocky Top leaving the football program in shambles. I wonder if anyone will now agree on my comments about … Read More »
