I guess it was only a matter of time before #4 wore out his welcome with head coach Brad Childress. Favre refuses to accept being taken out of a game even when he is playing poorly. NO SHOT this team goes anywhere in the playoffs.  I hope the Packers get another crack at #4.

Terrapintimes.com reported last night that mega-agent Drew Rosenhaus from Miami will represent Off tackle Bruce Campbell. Drew has a strong history especially with the Ravens and this seems to be a fine choice for Campbell. Drew is the agent for Jared Gaither and Willis McGahee of the Ravens—performing the herculean task of taking on Willis after his injury in Miami’s BCS loss to Ohio State and promising a disheartened McGahee that he would still be a 1st round pick.

With the Ravens 6 days away from a Judgement Day game with the Steelers, the Ravens received the bad news that Ladarius Webb is OUT. Does Ozzie put out the call for #21? Lets get the people in here who we need to win.

Winston-Salem State University is 2-6 in 2009.  The Rams are led in scoring by 6’2″ senior guard Brian Fisher at 12.1 pts per game and 6’5″ junior forward Shelton Carter chipping in with 11.9 pts. a game. Winston-Salem was once coached by Hall of Famer Clarence “Big House” Gaines who won 828 over 47 seasons including 18- 20 win seasons. The great Earl Monroe graced the Rams uniform.  In Earl’s senior year at Winston-Salem in 1967 the 6”3″ guard out … Read More »

Comments on a relatively easy victory:

Joe Flacco had 4 TD passes and utilized Todd Heap and Demetrius Williams much more.

The most bewildering part of this game was where did all the snow go.  The Ravens ground crew should be put in charge of snow removal.

I’m talking to Terptalk’s own Bruce Posner as the Ravens are preparing to punt from their own end zone. Pos says, don’t you think the Ravens should take the safety and free kick, like CFL teams do.   I say to him, no.—are you nuts?   The Ravens punt and the Da Bears’ Earl Bennett returns the punt 49 yards for Chicago’s only score of the day. The score became 14-7 instead of 14-2.  The Call Of The Day goes to … Read More »

When New Orleans should have lost to the Redskins, I kind of felt the bubble was bursting. Now it’s obvious, the Saints are in a fade mode after losing to December’s worst–Dallas.

The eyes of Texas will be on the basketball team come March. The big guy is awesome–remind me of a young Shaq. One word of advice for Rick Barnes–you might want to practice against the full court press because you will be seeing a lot of it.

I am speaking for myself here. Saturday afternoon for whatever reason I actually ventured out on the road. At about 2 o’clock, I learned what the word squall means. I could not see 5 feet ahead and I inched my way to safety. Next time there is storm of a 100 years, I will stay in bed and watch the tube.

Perhaps the tide is turning a little for Ralph. Maryland bested Clemson in a fierce recruiting battle for 6’5′ 285 Off Lineman Max Garcia. Certainly with the loss of Bruce Campbell to the NFL draft, getting Garcia was HUGE for the Terps.
