The Ravens have always seemed to me to be a great team when hungry and not overly banged up. If you see #71 take the field on offense tomorrow, the Ravens will control and win handily. If not they will still win. Yes Jared Gaither is that important to this team. thepass rush and secondary will have a much better day tomorrow then the past few weeks.
Midway through the 2nd quarter , I just had to ask TNT’s David Aldridge, Ron Thompson, and others on Press Row who was wearing the #7 jersey for the Wizards. Surely it wasn’t Andre Blatche. 13-15 from the field. Incredibly aggrssive all over the court. What message did Flip get over to Andre. The kid was truely unbelievable. Gilbert dropped a 32 on the Nets playing only about 25 minutes. And yes, Ernie Grunfeld is hands down EXEC of the … Read More »
The best news of the day is the return of the offensive prowess of Senior guard Eric Hayes who has been nursing a turf toe. Eric seems to have found his shooting which will be so crucial for the Terps. Steve Goins sat out the practice with knee problems. Jordan Williams’ play was certainly improved over last week. Mosley and Padgett continued their tough as nails game. Padgett will get strong PT for a Freshman.Tuesday night can’t come soon enough. … Read More »
It was a war the whole game but neither team could dent the nets.Casey Townsend, Maryland’s star who has been out since )ct 9 returned to the lineup, had 1 great opportunity but failed to convert late in the game. The Teprs are now 10-4-2 for the season and 4-2-2 in the ACC.
Thoughts on Game 3- Fear the Yankee offense
If Game 3 proved anything, it is that you need to be on your game all nine innings to defeat the Yankees lineup. The Phillies looked like they had control, a three-run lead including Andy Pettitte walking in a run and Cole Hamels going three-hitless innings, but the Yankee lineup blasted their way to eight runs in five innings to defeat the Phillies. This is one of those games that the losing … Read More »
Though saying he feels great, ex Terrapin Jared Gaither is listed as “Questionable ” for Sunday’s Judgement day game vs Denver.
Unbelievable, I really don’t understand the charges but the best point guard in College basketball (and he has yet to play a game) was only suspended for the first game of the season, despite the charges. Is it me or does it seem like the powers of the NCAA (Kentucky USC) seem to get off lightly. Check out the ESPN story.

Hippolyte has pushed up his visit to this weekend according to terrapintimes.com. What does that mean? It’s a known fact that Hip loves Maryland and perhaps it his way of trying to get here first. Sorry, Memphisroar.com. The big question is would the Terps want both Tsafack and St Anthony’s Ashton Pankey? YES—-even though they are similar types players, TAKE THEM BOTH and build the talent level on the 2010 team to an all time high!!!! Just my opinion!
Every year, this is a super game. The 2 ACC soccer powers square off at Ludwig tonight at 7:30.
