The score was not indicative of the onesidedness of the game. That being said Chris Turner had a decent game tossing 3 TDs of his own. Some observations:

Caleb Porzel burned his redshirt as expected but was ineffective in 3 rushing attempts. Have no fear this kid will be great.

The return of Bruce Campbell to the lineup is crucial to this team. There is just no running game or pass protection without him.

Let’s remember what #85 has had in store in the past for the Ravens. I remember the Monday night game when he wore a special Hall of Fame Jacket.  Then one time he threatened Ray Lewis calling him out before the game. I wonder if he is insane enough to jump into the stands if he scores? Look for the Ravens to take out last week’s frustrations out on Cincy.

The Terps move to 4-0 in the ACC and 14-0 for the season with a dominating win at Duke.

I could not let this one pass by my site. Why in the world would  RR keep Tate Forcier on the bench for the last drive even though he had such a poor game. Forcier had been part of 4 nail biting finishes and the back up is much more of a running QB. The result is he now 2 QBs with no confidence.

Two goals by Conor Casey and a clincher by Landon Donovan helped defeat the Honduras 3-2. This win was the clincher for the entrance of the US into the World Cup.

It was just for fun but I really appreciate all the readers of terptalk.com who stepped up and voted for the site.  As soon as I get the official results, I will let everyone know.

Shame on you Urban Meyer. You talk like Tim Tebow is your son yet no one would let his son play against LSU if there was a shred of doubt to his recovery from the concussion. Hasn’t Tebow given enough to Gator nation? If you put the health of a great kid like Tebow over the worry of another national title, it would make many lose any respect for you.    Just my opinion!!!!

DJ Adams (power runner) and Caleb Porzel (speed) are expected to burn their redshirts and debut for the Terps tonight at Wake. These 2 Freshmen will excite us for the next 4 years. I can’t wait to see Caleb turn the corner, although without Bruce Campbell in the lineup it might not happen until next week. Remember the game is on ESPN 360 at 6:30 PM.

Once again the #11 Terps dominated a team yet struggled to achieve victory.
