The Orioles traded their closer George Sherrill for 2 Los Angeles Dodgers prospects. The 32 year old lefthander acquired in the Eric Bedard trade saved 51 games in his brief stay in Baltimore. Am I the only guy in Baltimore that is not happy about this trade. Sherrill pitched great for the O’s and without him the O’s are destined for another August — September collapse. It’s just too old for me. Josh Bell at 3rd and Steve Johnson on the mound—time will tell. Aubrey Huff had a great game today despite Freddy’s rantings from Boca.
