Why is it the Orioles always seem to fall victim when the whole world is watching? Watching Afraud hit Guthrie’s first pitch to him in the first  for a 3 run dinger made me sick. Then to have to endure the Yankee dugout celebrating the doings of a pathetic cheater only ruined the night more. Of course the 3 strikeouts of Mr  Mercenary II did provide some relief. One day and I do believe it will be soon, the Orioles will … Read More »

Mike Wise in the Post had a great rcap of game 4. The Penquins now accuse Ovie of being a Russian take out artist. Of course no … Read More »

The Terrapin NCAA game will be telecast on ESPNU on Sunday.  Notre Dame is undefeated this year but their record is suspect due to lack of top ten competition. Of course the return of Will Yeatman to South Bend is the story of the game. The Terrapins are the kind of team that could catch fire and ride its offense into the final four. More on this game Saturday night. Jilly’s of Pikesvile one of my sponsors will telecast the … Read More »

Let’s give Theo Epstein, GM of tne Red Sox, some real credit.  Last year when Manny pushed down the Bosox’ 63 year old traveling secretary, Theo and the Boston brass knew it was time to dump Manny.  Now the Dodgers have the albatross around their neck. Like Barry Bonds and Arod every accomplishment of Manny’s is suspect.El Loco is a hero no more.

Alex Ovechkin scored one and assisted on the tying goal, but the Penquins avoided disaster, winning in overtime on a deflected goal. Have no fear, as long as Varlamov is stellar in goal the Caps victory is only a matter of when. Sidney Crosby assisted on 2 goals for Pittsburgh. The series resumes Friday night.
