Sickening!!! That’s the feeling in my gut 30 minutes after the loss. Rest assured the Ravens will win 11 games and make the playoffs. But the road to Dallas will be just that –on the road. Some thoughts on 3 hours of watching an entertaining game with a disappointing ending.
Was it me or did the announcing team puke all over themselves praising Matt Ryan. Joe Flacco has won 3 playoffs games. Matt Ryan —0. It was just tough to … Read More »
Some observations of the Ravens 6th victory
This game was not nearly as close as the score indicates. How in the world did the Dolphins win 4 on the road. Brandon Marshall was not impressive. After the first drive, Greg Mattison mad some adjustments and the rushing game vanished. The Dolphins did lots of complaining but not much playing. Remember this team had a victory over the Steelers stolen from them.
Minus the red zone disasters, Cam Cameron and Flacco … Read More »
Could Shawne help with the past rush? It certainly would be worth a try. However, Denver is in desperate need of linebackers and I doubt he will clear waivers past the Broncos.
I wonder what team will want to add some cancer to its lockeroom in the name of Randy Moss?
It was a long Sunday. Without the Red Zone it might have been a disaster. It was a pleasure to relax after a Terrapin Blowout win against Wake and enjoy watching the Steelers thoroughly outplayed by New Orleans but when the Ravens are of it just ain’t the same on Sunday.13 years of Sundays in the fall were ripped away from Baltimore by Bob and Jimmy Irsay and we must never forget!!!!
It was Judgment Day for Billy Cundiff yesterday in the overtime. And unlike Hauschka last year, Billy passed with flying colors. I like his magic kick off shoe, he switches to after every FG or PAT.
Todd Heap seems to be ko’d every game.
I had originally said that Ed Reed should be held out of the game yesterday and not used until the by week was over. Without Ed Reed we lose yesterday.
There will be no more … Read More »

I vividly remember the final moments of the Ravens’ Super Bowl win in Tampa. The game was clearly over early in the 4th quarter. Many Ravens fans, myself included gathered in the lower endzone near the pirate ship. The Giants fans outnumbered the Ravens fans 3-1 or more but they had all left.As the final seconds ticked away, I never forget pointing up to the scoreboard and telling many of my friends–remember this day because we might not live to … Read More »
It’s an absolute miracle that Todd Heap did not suffer a crippling injury from the helmut to helmut hit delivered by Patriot defensive back, Brandon Meriweather. I’m talking about a life threatening injury. Steve Young said it correctly after the Monday night game—if it makes you cringe it must be too big of a hit. The decision will come down Wednesday.
It took 3 years but the 2nd guessing was rampant on Monday. Flacco’s post game comments were not comforting!!!? Does the Raven hierarchy trust #5 to audible? Does it make sense to use Ray Rice 40 plays out of 69? On and On. Listen I was as upset as anyone with the conservative, lame play calling but John Harbaugh’s record stands above any conjecture. The Jets went into a shell against the Ravens in Week 1 and you saw the … Read More »
What a great fit Lights out would be in a Ravens uni. The Ravens need that special sack master to go along with #55 and the ex Terrapin might just be the guy. “Ravens would have interest in Shawne Merriman w/2 big ifs–if he passes physical in next 24 hours, and if it’s a relatively low-money deal,” Peter King of SI.com.wrote.
