For most teams in the midst of a 8 game losing streak cliches would apply: it’s early in the year, the bats will come around, the bullpen needs to straighten out, etc But this is the O’s. Do you find yourself wondering —will we ever win another game? I guess now we will find out how great of a manager Buck really is.
To me Willie Don was Mr Baltimore. He loved our great city more then anyone. I will never forget his tears when the Colts left town. Without Schaefer there would be no Camden Yards or M&T Bank Stadium. This man needs to be honored somewhere in the 2 arenas.
The Bulls moved to 2-0 in its playoff series with Indiana on the basis of Rose’s 34 point performance. Yes this is the same Derrick Rose who Calapari was unable to win a championship while he was at Memphis wrecking the program. Interesting collection of ACC players in this game. Terrapin attackman. Ryan Young, has had an unbelievable All American season this year while carrying the tremendous burden of the illness of his Mom. Yesterday Maria Young succumbed to pancreatic cancer. Our hearts go out to Ryan and his family. Ryan is a special young man who has represented the University in a tremendous fashion.
