Quote from Gary Williams :”I fully expect Jordan to come back because of the lockout possibility,” Gary Williams said. “No one knows anything about the draft right now except the NBA. They’re the guys that are going to draft their players. With a lockout as a possibility, it’ll be interesting to see how the process of the draft takes place. I know the NFL is going ahead with their draft, but the NBA, all sources I have are saying this … Read More »
The Wizards lost again for the 4th time this year to Miami. Nothing unusual. But what was weird was the thuggish play from Miami. Is that what LeBron and Co think is going to get them to the promised land. Ilgauskas’ cheap shots to Wall were a joke. To the Wizards credit they fought back tooth and nail. Analyst Glenn Consor said postgame (and i paraphrase), when you are being punked on the playground you better fight back or you will … Read More »
Vlady is finishing up Spring Training with 5 Hrs and 20 RBIs but more important perhaps one of the best attitudes on the team. I called my DH __Brendan from the O’s and asked to buy 4 more seats for opening day. His response was “Sorry, it’s an absolute sellout” In the long run that is great news.
Jordan wants to test the waters. Because he has no agent, Jordan can withdraw his name from the draft by May 8. Jeff Barker of the Sun reports that Jordan hasn’t attended one of his classes in 2 weeks. Not a good sign!

It’s almost like no one can believe it. If JW was going to be a clear cut first round pick nobody could blame him for leaving. But there is even some doubt as to whether he will be drafted at all. Remember the NBA draft is only a 2 round affair. A second round pick or a coplete blank would probably lead JW across the ocean to play in Europe. Thereis nothing wrong with that but………….A return to a much … Read More »
#7 vs #9 who would have thought?
It seems like it was yesterday that the Lady Terps stormed from behind to defeat Northwestern and regain their perch at the top of the elite world of lacrosse. Tonight at 7, the Terps return to face Towson. I am sure Jen Adams will have her Loyola coaching staff present to watch the #1 team in the land. The Loyola Greyhounds are currently undefeated.
