Travis Reed and Ryan Young brought the Terrapin attack back to life each registering a hat trick as the Terps moved to 3-1 on the season. Some super saves by Bellarmine’s goalie kept the game respectable. Coach Tillman emptied the bench in the 4th quarter as Bellarmine closed the gap. Next up for Maryland –Towson state on Saturday at 11 AM at Johnny U Stadium.

Williams, who ranks first in the Atlantic Coast Conference and third nationally in rebounding (11.6 per game), was a 3rd team selection in announcements Monday by both organizations. If it’s believable I like the draw the Terps have. We handled NC State at Comcast on Greivis Vasquez Day and if I had the choice, I believe Duke is the better matchup for the Terps. That is considering the alternative would be North Carolina who is just way too skilled at the big man level for Maryland. There is still a little optimism left.
