When you meet James Franklin, you know you are meeting one of the most confident, talented, self assured football men around. Remember Ralph was ecstatic when he returned. Now with the football in waiting issue no one knows how to react. Ralph was just voted ACC Coach of the Year (He certainly received my vote) He seems to be demanding a new extended contract. Yet do we really want to see James leave. Kevin Anderson has his hands full. I … Read More »

Williams Post UNCG I give the Maestro credit—he remains loyal to those who have always been good to him. After a really weak game against Temple, gary contemplated a change or 2 but decided to stay with the status quo as far as the starting lineup goes. Adrian Bowie responded with an excellent game scoring 15 on 4-5 shooting.Cliff Tucker scored 13 on 5-10 shhoting. Once again Jordan Williams got a 2bl–2bl with 23 and 13.

I am finding it tough to see anything encouraging about the Bullets. Trevor Booker though undersized as a 5, has really been playing well as of late. I think Flip is out of ideas. I wish we had Caron back. Well Blake had a great game against the Wizards in LA.
Has there ever been an NFL coach who graciously can take the heat from the press and the public when things go South? Well Coach Harbaugh is not in that “gracious club”. Just apologize and, move on, and worry about Houston. Everyone in life is 2nd guessed Coach, let it go.
Definitely a good move. Koji was nearly perfect the last part of 2010.
Senior attackman Grant Catalino headlines a group of six Maryland men’s lacrosse players that were named to the annual Inside Lacrosse Face-Off Yearbook preseason All-America teams. Catalino earned a first team selection, while senior defender Brett Schmidt and senior attackman Ryan Young were second and third team honorees, respectively. Sophomore midfielder John Haus, senior long pole Brian Farrell and senior defender Max Schmidt were honorable mention selections.
I guess at some point we have to move on as the Terps begin to get ready for the Military Bowl Dec 29 at 2:30 PM. I am anxious to see our gunslinger Danny O’Brien take apart the East Carolina defense.
Look for Coach Williams to tweak the starting lineup tonight perhaps in an effort to fire up his 4 slumping upperclassmen. I am just speculating but I would not be shocked to see Terrell Stoglin enter the starting lineup tonight. I would also not be shocked to see the same 5 that has started every game. Stay tuned. The starters have really not played that bad at home. Jordan Williams must get some offensive help.
