There is hope. Appearing in the 2nd quarter, Jamarr Robinson led perhaps the most impressive drive of the year hitting 3 bullet passes downfield leading to an eventual touchdown by DaRel Scott.  Senior Chris Turner got the start today and drove the team down on the first series to a field goal.  16-10 BC with 5 minutes to go in the 3rd.

The Steelers finally came to their senses. How they could risk the health of a franchise player like #7 was ridiculous. So now–no #43 and no #7—the Ravens better win or they are done!!

I was in Miami the past few days for Thanksgiving.  Friday I wore a black Maryland football shirt. It is utterly amazing the amount of Terrapin fans in Florida.  Two subjects always come up–what’s wrong with the football team and does Gary have a final four team this year.  A few people asked me why Maryland wasn’t on TV much ? I had no answer. But I could feel the Terrapin love everywhere. Next time you are away wear your … Read More »

Why does it seem to be an important game? Because we always want the Seniors to go out on a high note—especially this year. Here’s hoping Chris Turner gets some relevant pt today. This kid has poured his heart out for the Terps. The game is on real TV on ESPNU at 3:30.

Last night was maybe one of the best performances by a Bullets team in years. What is ironic is that the team was led to victory by Boykins and Nick Young. Gilbert was planted on the bench for the 4th quarter.    It is almost unbelievable the impact the 5’5″ point guard (Boykins ) has had on the team.

A slow start and a potentially costly injury took some of the fun out of Maryland’s 41st consecutive home victory.  Freshman Tianna Hawkins had 17 points and 11 rebounds, and the Terrapins beat Howard 79-51 Friday night despite playing the second half without leading scorer and rebounderLynetta Kizer, who left with a sprained left ankle.  Kizer was injured … Read More »

—Jordan Williams and James Padgett have been inserted into the Terrapin lineup and play a crucial roll. However Gary has been forced to do this becase of the injury to Steve Goins, Jin Soo Choi.   Jin Soo came to Maryland with a history of a great 3 point shot.  When Dino comes back–he will inject the hopps  and his mid range jumper.  But more important he will handle of a ton of pressure that comes with the territory. This kid will help big … Read More »

Last year every Ravens fan marveled at the innovative plays and sets from the Ravens. Finaaly after all of the Billick years, the team was interesting to watch on offense. Using a 3 back offense, finding ways to get Troy Smith involved, etc. And the this year after the Charger game —poof–it all vanished into a Ray Rice dominated offense. Why? Cam Cameron has lost his genius moniker for the time being.

Hopefully this is the 1st of many for ex-Terrapin grad and 1st round pick of the Raiders.
