The Ravens have always seemed to me to be a great team when hungry and not overly banged up. If you see #71 take the field on offense tomorrow, the Ravens will control and win handily. The best news of the day is the return of the offensive prowess of Senior guard Eric Hayes who has been nursing a turf toe. Eric seems to have found his shooting which will be so crucial for the Terps. Steve Goins sat out the practice with knee problems. Jordan Williams’ play was certainly improved over last week. It was a war the whole game but neither team could dent the nets.Casey Townsend, Maryland’s star who has been out since )ct 9 returned to the lineup, had 1 great opportunity but failed to convert late in the game. The Teprs are now 10-4-2 for the season and 4-2-2 in the ACC.

Unbelievable, I really don’t understand the charges but the best point guard in College basketball (and he has yet to play a game) was only suspended for the first game of the season, despite the charges. Is it me or does it seem like the powers of the NCAA (Kentucky USC) seem to get off lightly. Check out the ESPN story.
