Well Dave— a couple of things I’m pretty sure the Big East is a BCS conference so its top team could play for the BCS championship. 2nd West Va’s big rival is Pitt and that’s not going to change. Virginia’s big rival in conference is Va Techh. Duke’s main rival is Carolina. Sadly maryland has no 1st tier rivalry with any ACC team and no real rivalry with any school. The 53rd annual Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Honor Roll, noting academic excellence by student-athletes for 2008-09, was announced today by Commissioner John D.
