I think Maryland needs to follow a similar blueprint that got them to the final 4 in 2002. 4 man big man rotation. Padgett, Williams, Goins, and Gregory. Padgett and Williams will be a tremendous upgrade from Braxton Dupree. I don’t think you can expect Williams and Padgett to do a lot offensively particularly early in the season, but they need to play defense, rebound on both ends, alter some shots, block some shots and be able to catch the ball down … Read More »

The Maryland Lady Lacrosse Terrapins fell 2 games short of a perfect season in 09 but Caitlyn Mcfadden continues to win national accolades. She was named National Midfielder of the Year. Caitlyn has 2 years left to achieve the perfect season for the Terps
Well it wasn’t pretty or titanic, Matt Wieters first home run was a wind blown opposite field fly that just cleared the wall to give the O’s a 3-1 lead. Later in the 7th with the score tied at 4 Aubrey Huff went deep to give the O’s the W. In Bowie rookie phenom Brian Matusz threw 6 innings of shutout ball.
Andy Katz has released his final Top 25 Preseason Poll for College Basketball, and the Terps have earned the 17th spot on the list.
