The Minutemen fans in Massachusetts are rejoicing tonight. Terrell Vinson, most likely tired of waiting for X Henry tocommit to Kansas and Lance to who knows where scenario will play out, announced his intention to attend Umass. Apparently Vinson hit it off with Coach Derek Kellog and the 6’7″ forward from St Francis now has to get used to the frigid winters in Amherst. Check out Matt Bracken’s blog in the sun today for an entire history of … Read More »
This was one game I had to go see. The build up for Brad Bergesen leads every Oriole fan to believe he is part of the pitching solution. Brad did not disappoint, he was brilliant by Oriole standards. Trembley pulled him out wisely after 97 pitches and only an error by Wigginton on a routine grounder spoiled his effort. Aubrey slammed 2 dingers and Markakis went 4-4, as the … Read More »
From Trans World News comes the news that X has canceled his trip to Kentucky. Why does a Terrapin fan care about this? Kansas coach Bill Self threatened that if X took an official visit to Kentucky then he was off the Jayhawk want list. Expect Xavier to commit to Kansas within 48 hours. That leaves lance with his decision that I have gone over enough. Logic says he comes to Maryland , but we shall see.

The Orioles visit to the over .500 league was short lived as they dropped a 12-1 decision on Patriots Day in Boston. Be sure to watch the O’s tonight as prime pitching prospect Bradley Bergesen starts against the White Sox.
The Caps thoroughly dominated the Rangers 4-0 in Madison Sqaure Garden and now trail in the series by 2 games to one. However again the Caps let this punk Sean Avery, take a late verbal shot at the goalie. The only … Read More »

Maryland Day is always a highlight of the year for me.I really enjoy picking out 5 or 6 activities to attend and then wrap up the day at the Spring Football game. QB1 (Chris Turner) has not had the best spring seasons so far. This kid can play but he just cant practice well. See you at the game on Saturday. Remember the activities at College Park are free. Take your family and friendsout College Park and have fun!!!
I have been saying all along that the Lance chase is not over and now we find out that as recent as last Friday Gary met with Born Ready. From zagsblog.com,we continue to get the same mantra that Maryland is out of the running for Lance. First of all it’s obvious Lance waited until Gary visited before any announcements were made. It’s hard to believe that Lance continues to play second fiddle waiting for Xavier Henry to choose … Read More »
Strange headline. Derrick Rose will never repeat Game 1 performance on Marathon day . The Celtics will coast to a 115-98 victory. Look for Paul Pierce to score 40 tonight.
I can not invision the Caps getting swept. Ovechkin shines tonight as the Caps coast to 4-1 victory.
Led by Zagoria’s New York blog, it is custom to say Maryland’s pursuit of Born Ready is finished. Sorry Adam , I’m not buying and it’s for logical reasons.
Xavier Henry is close to signing with Kansas. If he does then Lance will never be a Jayhawk.
Memphis has enterd the picture for Lance. Memphis???? Calipari wrecked this program—bad choice Lance.
Now we are down to St Johns whose coaches supposedly say Lance is … Read More »
It’s hard to comment onthis game because there wasn’t on any electrtonic media coverage but judging by the score 2 tings are clear, Maryland knew the importance of this game and the Terps played stifling defense limiting a very hot Penn team to only 2 goals. Brian Phipps started again, played 3 periods and had 8 saves. Dan Groot scored 3 times as Maryland awaits next Friday night’s game against Carolina in the ACC Tournament. The Terrapins might just need … Read More »
