Despite words from zagsblog.com yesterday that Maryland was out, Lance Stephenson today said it was still between the 3 schools -St Johns, Kansas, and Maryland. Is there still hope Born Ready could be a Terp—-yes but not much. I guess we will play the waiting game. Perhaps this might give the coaching staff more time to impress the young man.
The #2 Terrapin lacrosse team journeyed to Scully Fahey Field at Dartmouth yesterday and barely defeated the #15 team. Karri Ellen Johnson scored in the 2nd overtime to give Maryland the victory. the Terps are now 7-0 with BC coming to College Park Saturday at High Noon.

Adam Zagoria reported in zagsblog,com last night that Lance Stephenson has narrowed his college choices to St John’s and Kansas. Born Ready has postponed his announcement day to April 1 in Miami when he plays in the McDonald’s game. This seems to indicate that Kansas might be the winner of the one and done Lance. Coach Cathy Reese takes her unbeaten Terrapin squad into Dartmouth today. The Terps have been led by the prolific scoring depth consisting of Laura Merrifield, Sarah Mollison (pictured), Caitlyn McFadden, and Freshman Karrie Ellen Johnson. The depth across this lineup is incredible. The Terps return home Saturday to face Boston College at High Noon as a prelude to the Men’s game against North Carolina.

Heavily favored UConn received the overall #1 Seed and would face Maryland in the Championship Game if each team progresses. Gary Williams and his Terrapins have returned to the NCAA Tourney. The Terrapins will face Mike Montgomery and his California Bears on Thursday afternoon at 2:55 in Kansas City.
