dave-neal-wake-09  With 7 minutes to go, the Terrapins were up 54-48, and what happened after that is nothing but a blur. Some observations :

The general consensus is that a victory over Wake Forest tonight should virtually assure Maryland’s return to the dance. The Wolfpack hung around tonight but Greivis Vasquez refused to let his team falter, scoring 33 points and running a near flawless court game while leading the Terps to a 71-60 road victory over NC State.  I have been speaking about Judgement day for the Terps all year. But today is the true day of reckoning. The Terps must win 2 of its final 3 gamesto keep itself in the Dance. Maryland needs to find a way to win at NC State on Sunday night.  Brandon Costner must be stopped!!!
