Finally after all the waiting and all the speculation, Maryland Hoops reurn to the Comcast Center today at 2PM to face Rollie Massamino’s Northwood Seahawks. Greivis is out for violating team regulations and Sean Mosley will probably not play to help the healing process of his ankle. Look tomorrow for my observations of this exhibition game.

Unfortunately, the handwriting has been on the wall all year. The Terps just have not played well on the road. This time it cost them a very clear and definitive trip to Tampa for the right to play in the Orange Bowl. Now the Terps must win the next 2 games or virtually be eliminated from the BCS position. After a long and exhausting waiting period, the NCAA Clearinghouse approved Jin Soo Kim and thus Kim joins the 2008-2009 Class along with Sean Mosley and Steve Goins. He will begin working out with the team on Wednesday.

Graham Susi and Jeremy Hall led the Terps to a 2-0 lead at UVA Friday night and goalie Mike MacMath made some stellar stops to preserve a 2-1 victory, Maryland’s 7th in a row. North Carolina is next up for the Terps Fiday night at Ludwig Field.
