Sophomore Scott Swinson tossed the 6th no hitter in Maryland baseball history as the Terrapin nine gained its 30th win of the season, for only the 2nd time in school history. Luke Scott slammed a 3 run dinger off Josh Beckett as the O”s came from behind to defeat the Red Sox 5-4 before 38,000 at Camden Yards. The Lady Terps disposed of Temple 20-7 on Sunday and will face the Blue Devils Saturday at 1PM at College Park, with the winner advancing to the Final Four. Duke defeated the Terps in Durham earlier in the year. UVA outlasted UMBC 10-9 to set up the Quarterfinal at Navy against the Terps.

Coach Dave Cottle has done about everything perfect at maryland except—winning the title. His teams continue to win and advance in the NCAA tournament. Academically, his teams perform incredibly.
