Maryland pursued and lost this local big man.  Not a great spot to be in for the Terps who need a shot blocker.

Tariq wanted a place where he would start, and apparently Chris Beard at Texas Tech will give him that slot.

Owens, a 6-11 post player, averaged 8.4 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.8 blocks a game with the Red Storm this season.

After watching the Masters for 5 hours and relishing in the 1-2-3 Finish of 3 of my favorite players, it was time to turn my attention to the quest of the Terrapins (lax that is) to be placed at the rightful spot as #1 in the nation.

Maryland basketball center Bruno Fernando is going through the pre-draft process but has not hired an agent.  This leaves open the possibility of his return to the Terps.

Last season, Justin Jackson took the same steps and returned to Maryland instead of leaving school.
