Maryland takes down American 62-56 on Friday night

Bruce Posner, Maryland Basketball, Wayne Viener

Some observations:

1st half –not exactly classic football

2nd half–Old fashioned Kubiak type offense

Once again–tremendous defensive effort by the Ravens

Not a big fan of all purple unis but it brought victory

Perriman –a TD catch and a good one at that—finally–and then another drop

Kenneth Dixon showed pre season form

Flacco 3TDs —30-41–but 2 point killing interceptions

A healthy Steve Smith Sr is crucial to the Ravens

10 days to prepare for Cowboys
