Aust tallied five goals and five assists – tying the third-highest point total in Terrapin single-game history – as Maryland (4-0, 2-0 ACC) dropped its third straight top-10 ranked foe. Sophomore Kristen Lamon added a career-best four goals.

The ninth-ranked Maryland women’s basketball team outscored No. 24 Florida State by 17 points in the final minutes of a furious comeback, but fell just short, 72-71, in Tallahassee, Fla.
Florida State led by 17 at 64-47 with 4:31 to go, then junior Katie Rutan hit three to spark a 24-7 run over the final four minutes of the game. The Terrapins (22-6, 13-4 ACC) held the Seminoles 21-7, 11-6) to one basket in the last 6:27 of the game.
