Rumors, rumors but no facts. Some DC TV guy named Helle said it was a done deal. I thought maybe but then I heard he was transferring to Delaware or Vanderbilt. What? Danny has to be smarter then that. More as I research.
Speculation will finally end Friday night. Terrapin nation can only hope Stefon decides to stay at home and become a legend in the state.
Senor is starting in place of the injured Jarrett Jack and the NBA is taking notice. Monday night he played the entire 40 minutes for New Orleans in a 100-92 defeat.
Jordan Williams is filling the role that Coach Avery Johnson foresaw for him –pF off the bench now contributing about 7 points and 7 rebounds in a reserve role.
What the heck was the discussion that Terrell “might” be an All ACC 1st team selection. If not there is no justice. Stogs was simply stupendous scoring 27 on 9-11 shooting including 4 threes. Coach Turgeon could find no fault with his star tonight. Wake up Jay Williams–Terrell is 5 times better then you said. Can we ever get a gammon the tube without a Dookie on the broadcast team?
When the Terps were up 54-38, didn’t you just know … Read More »

As is usual here, we’re not going to post a score or any specifics about last Saturday’s scrimmage at Loyola, but we’re not going to try to ignore that it happened either. What we will do here is take a look at a few of the Terps who played really well vs. the Greyhounds.

Some observations of a hard fought Wizard victory:
John Wall plays all our for every second that he is in the game. For that I respect him. His jump shot seems to be getting better. When it arrive Wall could be a top five guard in the league. Tonight he scored 31 on 10-19 shooting. We have to remember he would only be a Junior if he was still in college. However, under Calipari I doubt if he would have … Read More »
With 9 minutes 30 seconds left in the first half, Maryland trailed 9-6. That about describes the first 11 minutes. Brenda gave an impassioned timeout lecture just telling the players to fight through the pressure. Alyssa Thomas and Tianna Hawkins responded with 2 superb efforts each finishing with 23 points. Do the math thats 46 out of the 64.
Full court pressure can really wear you down and Georgia Tech stayed in the press the entire game. But maryland overcame … Read More »
The students were awesome Satyrday–seranading Diggs all day. I have never witnessed anything like that for a football recruit but Stefon Diggs is more then just a recruit –he is a game changer. With Florida and Urban Meyer the man in competition, I am just hoping that Mack Brown and Lane Kiffin do not make a late play.
