If the Lions front four is as strong as it looked tonight, they just might be the team to beat in the NFL. Matthew Stafford gets better with each game. Please don’t ever question the heart of jay Cutler after the beating he took Monday night.

ESPN Analysis:

Strengths:
The younger Cassell is starting to assert himself more on the offensive end shooting the ball off a jab and taking advantage of his 6’2, lengthy frame to post up smaller guards like his dad did for so long. He has the length to be a nice defender and guard the 1 or 2. Sam is able to see over the defense and pinpoint his pass. He has a high basketball IQ and knows how to … Read More »

Let’s get it on. Five members of the 2002 National Championship, including 2 current NBA stars will suit it up for the Alumni Game at 10:30. Usually the game consists of Mitch Kasoff dominating play but this year might be different. (I do hope Mitch plays this year). CJ gave the team a spark and his 77 yard scamper for a TD proves there are definite times when he should be inserted in the lineup. However, though he experienced a few drops, his passes for the most part were so off the mark I was not sure where he was even throwing to. To defeat a Clemson or … Read More »

Before I start, I surely am thinking about Andrew Gonella who suffered a seemingly disastrous leg injury and had to be taken off the field by ambulance. He’s a great kid, who loves Maryland with all he has.

Let’s start with the good—the defense looked superb today. GT came into the game averaging almost 50 points a game–not todayonly 2 TD drives. Joe Vellano has 20 tackles including 14 solos. AJ Francis, had 9, and David Mackall seemed like he … Read More »
