In the LLWS my heart went out for the Japanese shortstop whose error led to the USA victory. Great game nonetheless.
The great longstick middie was among the last celebrating hopefully helping to wash away the UVA loss. Rookies had a tremendous impact on the MLL this year. After watching the finale, I am convinced the college game needs a shot clock!!!!! Also the 2 point play would put an end to the zone defense which tends to dull the game.
Coach Harbaugh is a first class guy and a great coach!!!!!
How great was it to hear Maryland being mentioned among the choices for many at the elite 24 game. Some observations:
Gonzaga’s Nate Britt is just flat out super. His basketball IQ is off the charts. In a no d game , he frustrated Aquille Carr several times.
The Harrison twins were awesome as usual.
Amile Jefferson gets better every time I see him.
