3 First half goals by Sarah Mollison gave the Terps a comfortable 6-1 lead. BC stormed back in the 2nd half at one point cutting the lead at one point but a goal by Freshman Beth Glaros moved the Terps to a 3 goal lead. The #1 Terps again played without their their All American Karri Ellen Johnson still out from the concussion she suffered.

A combination of ex Northwestern stars of Katrina Dowd, Christian Kjellman and Lindsey Munday led Team USA to a dominating win over Maruyland forced to play without 2 of its key players, Brittany Poist and Katie Schwartzmann-both members of Team USA. The 54th annual Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Honor Roll, recognizing academic excellence by student-athletes during the 2009-10 academic year, was announced Friday by Commissioner John Swofford. The Honor Roll is comprised of student-athletes who participated in a varsity-level sport and registered a grade point average of 3.00 or better for the full academic year. The No. 2-ranked Maryland women’s lacrosse team held No. 9 Virginia scoreless in the second half on its way to an 11-5 defeat of the Cavaliers Friday. Maryland (4-0, 2-0 ACC) thwarted a ten-minute stall tactic by Virginia to outscore the Cavs 5-0 in the second half and earn its second conference victory in six days.
