With Terrence Ross at #39, Mychal Parker at # 42 and Terrell Stoglin at #88, the Terrapins certainly have a super 2010 Class. Add Ashton Pankey in the mix and that’s why hope springs eternal for 2010. Of course the ranking of Terrence Ross at 39 is a joke. This kid is the real deal. Check out the top 100 at ESPNU.

Terrapintimes.com reports that Hippo Tsafack a 6’8 230 lb PF/C from the Miller School in Virginia is still in the recruiting mix of the Terps. He is visiting Memphis for Midnight Madness and is being courted by UCLA> Hippo is the teammate of Maryland commit Mychal Parker.
Big , big weekend for the Terrapins. It’s Homecoming UVA is in town on Saturday but finally the hoops season is about to begin. Heralded 2010 recruit MyChal Parker—6’6 190 Sf from the Miller School in Virginia—will be taking his official visit this weekend. Parker verbally committed in mdi August.
Over the weekend an article in the Arzona news began to speculate that perhaps PG Terrell Spoglin was reconsidering his verbal to Maryland and might open up discussions with Arizona. Yesterday terrapintimes.com interviewed the much heralded Senior and Spoglin cleared the air by saying he is definitely going to be a Terp and hopefully will sign the early committemnt letter.
