Sean was nearly perfect tonight with 13 points and 10 assists leading the Terps to an easy victory. Some observations of Maryland’s third victory:

What a great crowd–into the game from tipoff.—17,180

It was great to see Dino Gregory on the bench in street clothes. Again I say great kid, can’t wait for his return on Dec 12.

Game in game out Landon Milbourne is always a factor. Tonight he was 9-15 from the field with a career high 24 … Read More »

Who says Sean Mosley can’t play the point. Early on he has several assists, especially to the bigs.  The student sections were packed long before the start of the game.

All the sites say the great Tobias Harris is a longshot to select Maryland.  With the addition of Ashton Pankey to the 2010 recruiting class. Maryland will now be stacked with bigs next year. Tobias wants to be the point forward in college. It’s about the only position the Terps don’t have covered. Whatever Harris does, this is a great recruiting class. Terrell Spoglin is certainly one of the top point guards in the country. Terrence Ross is an incredible … Read More »

Terps are up 12-5 after 6 minutes led by a furious defense and 3 easy baskets by Freshman Jordan Williams.

10 minutes to go Terps up 18-10  —Sean Mosley has 6 points–2 jumpers and a flying stuff. Ex NBA scout Paul Baker just told me that Sean has all the attributes of a guy who can play at the next level.

First things first–this was only an exhibition game but Gary’s teams always play at a frenetic pace. Tonight was no exception. Some comments on the game.

The 2 Freshmen turned in excellent performances after shaking away 1st game jitters. James Padgett was 4-5 from the field and had 4 rebounds in 22 minutes of action. His inside moves are excellent. Jordan Williams is a physical force and will undoubtedly see more time as the year goes on. Jordan finished with … Read More »

It’s only an exhibition game but every Terrapin fan greatly anticipates tonight’s game.  My guess for the  starting lineup will be Bowie, Greivis, Sean Mosley, Landon, and Dino at the 5. I would not be shocked if Gary starts Eric Hayes over Adrian Bowie, simply because Eric is a Senior. I am sure that Freshmen James Padgett and Jordan Williams will each get significant PT tonight. I certainly will be at the game tonight and probably will be blogging live. … Read More »

The best news of the day is the return of the offensive prowess of Senior guard Eric Hayes who has been nursing a turf toe.  Eric seems to have found his shooting which will be so crucial for the Terps.  Steve Goins sat out the practice with knee problems. Jordan Williams’ play was certainly improved over last week. Mosley and Padgett continued their tough as nails game. Padgett will get strong PT for a Freshman.Tuesday night can’t come soon enough. … Read More »
