Without ex Terrapin Jared Gaither, the Ravens are 0-3. With him in the lineup they are 3-0. Coach Harbaugh, put Jared back at LT.

Ravens

What a game!  A great pitching duel through seven innings then the Phillies took down the problematic Yankee bullpen.  Philadelphia wins a huge Game 1 and now the ball is in their court.

-Player of the Game: Cliff Lee, no question.  Pitching a complete game with no earned runs against one of the toughest lineups in baseball is incredible.  He constantly threw the 90s fastball and kept switching locations to throw off the batters.  10 strikeouts with six hits and … Read More »

Each time I watch Lance’s high school teammate, I keep saying to myself can this guy be this good? James has great inside moves, his strength belies his size but his ability to continue moving without the ball will be what James will be remembered by. The continued improvement of Steve Goins and the development of Jordan Williams will be the key factors in the effect Padgett will have as a Freshman. Again, I anxiously await next Tuesday night.

PINCH ME!!!!  Was that the Wizards I was watching?  I know it’s early but the trade for Mike Miller and Randy Foye is looking better and better. Ernie Grunfeld has performed brilliantly:

The hire of Flip Saunders brings energy and a new look team and the word team is emphasized.

The trade and Oberto has given this team depth it has not had in recent memory. Remember Antawn did not play tonight.

I forgot how great Gilbert can be.

Many guys on this team have a lot to prove this year. First and foremost is the former Agent Zero, Gilbert Arenas. Let’s see if he can put this team on his back while Antawn is recuperating. I do believe that Mike Miller will be a tremendous help as well as the return of Brendan Heywood gives this team big man depth it has never had. Here we go……………………………….

After watching the replay of Saturday’s disaster against Duke, one thing is clear: Let Chris Turner loose. Put him in a 8 yard shotgun and let him do what he does best. There is nothing to lose now.  Let’s see what Jamarr Robinson can do. The Terps need to go out firing on all cylinders. Please, please don’t burn Danny O’Briens redshirt.

The missing ingredient last year for the Terps was the injury to superb Defenseman Brian Farrell, from Boys Latin. According to Patrick Fischer (Media Realtions for Lacrosse) Brian was back for the fall ball game against team USA. Farrell is a special player and his return to the Terps could catapult them back into the final four. Remember where you heard it.

The Terrapin 2010 schedule includes 2 games at M&T Bank Stadium—against Duke and Johns Hopkins. The ACC … Read More »
