Terrence Ross went 7-13 including 5 dunks as he was named DC MVP in the I-95 Elite Challange Saturday night at St Frances Academy. Will Barton scored 18 and led the Baltimore team to victory.
My impressions of a great 3-2 playoff victory over Sidney Crosby and the Penquins.
The Capital’s goalie Varlamov was stupendous especially stopping Crosby when the score was knotted at 2-2
This crowd reminded me of a Comcast Maryland Duke crowd. Say no more!!!

As reported in Matt Bracken’s blog. defensive end Ian Evans becomes the 4th Terrapin football committment. The 6-foot-3, 230-pounder chose UM over offers from Syracuse and Temple. Rutgers, Penn State, Vanderbilt and many others were expressing interest, according to Hammonton head coach Pete Lancetta.
“I sent film out to a lot of places and [Maryland] was one of the first to respond very, very positively,” Lancetta said. “We’ve been getting obviously a lot of traffic coming through [the school]. He … Read More »
