Was that the same Miami team who the Terps thoroughly dominated last Saturday night? Did the Hurricanes destroy the Wake Forest Demon Deacons? How pathetic was the Duke team that got destroyed by Trevor Booker and the Clemson Tigers? Did Terrence Oglesby mockingly try to stuff the ball and further humilate Duke. Was that performance by Duke worthy of a tean that was #1 10 days ago? I didn’t realize that Coach K relies on Lance Thomas to tonguelash … Read More »
Please don’t anyone tell me Roy Williams is a great coach. How is it possible that he ever loses with that talent. Wayne Ellington scored a season-high 34 points and No. 3 North Carolina hit a season-best 16 3-pointers in its sixth straight victory. I had commented that the Terps had to stay close early to have a chance but it just didn’t happen. Baltimore’s Sean Mosley continues to grow rapidly, scoring 19 points as he begins to look … Read More »

The “somewhat of the new look Terps” performed with urgency and confidence as the Terps went virtually wire to wire in defeating the U Saturda night at Comcast. Coach Friedgen and Coach Franklin have stuck their necks way out on the line for Jordan, now let’s see how he responds. Ex-Terp Shawne “Lights Out” Merriman has decided to play with the knee surgery in what I believe is a very unwise decision. The Ravens QB mess has worsened with the realization that Kyle Boller may be out for … Read More »

For weeks I have been hearing about the future Pistol Pete, Ricky Rubio 17 year old Spanish guard. We shall see him this morning. If you are playing golf, TIVO this game. This one I believe will be a stern test for the USA because Spain has the guard play that might just frustrate Kobe and the guys. Jose Calderon has had his way in the NBA and will freelance today. Jason Kidd or Chris Paul must score from … Read More »
