Coach Friedgen reiterated what we all know the fate of the Terps lies in the hands of QB1, Chris Turner. Expressing much more confidence in the Cali lad, Coach believes that Chris ready and has come to camp to lead the team. Againthe 2 main concerns are the off line and def line. Junior Da’Rel Scott was named a candidate for the Doak Walker Award, which honors the top running back in the nation, for the second consecutive year.  Scott was one of 45 backs, including six from the Atlantic Coast Conference, selected as a preseason candidate for the award Tuesday by the Guaranty Bank SMU Athletic Forum Board of Directors.He is coming off one of the top seasons in school history and was a consensus preseason All-ACC choice this summer. Terrapintimes.com announced tonight that the Terrapions had received their 13th Verbal committment for 2010 from Nat Clarke a 6’4″ 285 lb offensive lineman from Archbishop Carroll High in DC.  More info over the next few days.

Last night Ralph addressed the media at the 2009 ACC Football Kickoff.
