Good fortune continues for the Terrapins today with the much sought after DJ Adams , 5’10” 210 RB from Georgia Verball comitting to Maryland. Along with Caleb Porzel, and hopefully Tavon Austin the Terps could have one of the strongest recruiting classes in the country.

Ex Terrapin, Jared Gaither seems destined to attempt to fill the shoes of legendary retired Ravens tackle Jonathan Ogden. Is he ready for the position that protects the blindside of the QB or is Adam Terry more qualified. The Ravens believe Jared is the man or as Ozzie responded when I asked last week if Jared was ready, he responded “he’d better be.”
Elsewhere on Saturday, as I predicted Venus Williams won in straight sets over baby sister … Read More »
Four star recruit De’Onte Arnett became the 13th verbal commitment the Terrapin football team has received for the 09 class. This is the defensive end that seems to have eluded the Terps over the past 5 years. A rising Senior at Forestville High, Arnett is the #11 ranked DE in the country according to rivals.com.

The Orioles scored 2 in the 9th to tie and went on to a 10 inning win over the Pale Hose, behind the timely hitting of Adam Jones. The sudden retirement of Steve McNair ignited a QB discussion throughout Baltimore today. Look for … Read More »

After cruising through the Oregon secondary in the first period with 2 TD drives, Maryland reverted to earlier season woes with 2 turnovers and several drive killing dropped passes to allow OSU to rally to a 14-14 halftime tie. Chris Turner was sharp throughout the half throwing 2 TDs, the second a 63 yard bomb to Heyward Bey. As we spoke about on Terp Talk, Ralph really had the troops ready to play. The running game however was non-existent. For the … Read More »
