1. Maryland — The Terps jumped out to a 8-0 lead on their way to a 12-5 destruction of John’s Hopkins in front of 14,353 fans in College Park. Edition No. 115 was one-sided. Matt Rambo had a career capping night as the Terps roll over Hopkins 12-5.
Senior Matt Rambo tallied seven points to become Maryland’s all-time points leader and the No. 5 Maryland men’s lacrosse won its third consecutive Big Ten regular season championship with a resounding 12-5 victory over No. 8 Johns Hopkins in the 115th installment of “The Rivalry.”
Rambo needed six points to break Bob Boneillo’s 37-year old points record (231) and achieved the feat in improbable fashion less than 18 minutes into the game.
