    Jeremy Guthrie shut down a great hitting Ranger team Friday night moving his record to 9-8.  Kevin Millar socked 2 HRs as the O’s ravaged the Texas pitching staff before 34,000.  Troy Smith gets the starting nod next Saturday night vs the Vikings at M&T.     Passion, hard hitting, and conditioning are 3 plus grades for new   Ravens last night. Yamon Figurs and the special teams led the way to victory. However, the offense, especially the QBs were not impressive.      Ernie Grunfeld has now placed the immediate future of the Wizards franchise in the hands of recently oft injured Gilbert Arenas.  I have always believed that the organization thinks it is ready to win the NBA Title with the Big 3 as its nucleus.  Time will tell.  The Wizards open up their summer league schedule Monday night with the Portland Trailblazers at 8PM on Comcast.
