Beyond the two Terps (Torrey Smith and Da’Rel Scott) that drew the most expected attention at Maryland’s Pro Day last Wednesday on campus was senior tight end Will Yeatman, who may have made the best case for himself for a shot at the next level.
Yeatman, who first attended Notre Dame to play both lacrosse and football, transferred to Maryland to play two seasons of lacrosse and one, last year, of football. After the season, the 6-6 1/2, … Read More »
No shocker here. The only weird thing is why he was thrown under the bus right at tourney time. I wonder if he is in for a shut down period or might NC State be interested. The guy completely revived Tennessee’s program.
terrapintimes.com reports that Shaq Cleare is clearly on the Terrapins radar. Here is a quick synopsis:” In a loaded class of post prospects, Cleare is among the top guys. Juniors Karri Ellen Johnson and Kristy Black combined for nine goals to pace No. 1 Maryland past No. 20 Boston College, 20-9, in Atlantic Coast Conference action Sunday. Johnson (5g) led a group of five Terps in double-digit scoring, including Black (4), Laura Merrifield (3), Brandi Jones (2) and Katie Schwarzmann (2). Sarah Mollison dished out a game-high five assists and sophomore Alex Aust added three.
