Rumors are swirling on ESPN that perhaps finally after several failed attempts and with his best years behind him, Vlad Guerrero might accept a humbling offer and be a regular at Camden Yards. Why not is my response. at least he won’t beat 5 or 6 times a year like he normally does.

Maryland has 2 winnable games this week at UVA on Thursday and Georgia Tech on Sunday. Two wins would right the shipand perehaps begin the trail back into the NCAA dance. It can opnly happen with stellar play fromthe 3 seniors. It seems that when they do well it triggers the rest of the team. Five University of Maryland men’s lacrosse seniors were selected in the 2011 Major League Lacrosse (MLL) Collegiate Draft. Long pole Brian Farrell was the highest pick, being selected with the 12th overall selection by the Boston Cannons.
