I will keep this short. I hope Josh Bell turns out to be our 3B for 10 years, but I know George Sherrill would have been our closer for 3 or 4 . Now with the loss of Steve Johnson because we didn’t protect him on the 40 man roster–this trade looks even more ridiculous.
The reigning Super Bowl champs dropped their 5th in a row last night, falling to 6-7. Remember, no matter how bad they are playing or how far out of contention the Steelers are, when they host the Ravens on DEc 27 they will give 110 % to ruin our playoff plans. Only Calipari could find a way to play down with one of the most talented collegiate basketball teams ever assembled. John Wall is clearly the best college guard in the land and I promise he is better then many pros.

So the Orioles actually made a big move which involved spending some cash. On Wednesday the O’s got Kevin Millwood from the Rangers plus cash for Chris Ray and a player to be named later according to the Baltimore Sun.
