Jacksonville is only 1 game ahead of the Ravens but the Jags hold a big edge in the tiebreaker component. The Ravens are 6-4 in conference and the Jags are 6-2 –most likely a tie would do us no good. The Weather forecast is for cold temps and a good chance at some snow. Let’s see who steps up or away from the next few months.
A strong post presence headed by freshmen forwards Tianna Hawkins and Diandra Tchatchouang propelled the Terrapins to a 69-56 win over Loyola. Hawkins’ second career double-double of a career-best 22 points and 10 rebounds led the Terrapin attack. The Clinton, Md., native was 10-for-15 shooting and added two blocks. Hawkins scored 16 of her points in the second … Read More »

Sean Mosley was beyond incredible tonight, unleashing an outside shooting performance for the Terps that rivals any in memory. sean was 11-14 from the field with 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block and 2 steals. Mr Baltimore is the real deal!!!!
Jordan Williams scored 19 points and had 12 rebounds against one of the best teams in College basketball. He is rapidly learning the college game. Remember this was only … Read More »

So far the speed and quickness of Nova must be dealt with by the Terps—-Greivis splits 2 foul shots 9-4 Nova after first break 16 minutes to go
Jay Wright said it best–that Gary seems to have his team prepared early maybe better thenn anyone in the country. The problem is how does Maryland slow down the Nova guards. Only be dominating the boards. Everyone must rebound on Sunday. Control the boards, Greivis has a big game, Eric hits 2 or 3 long range 3s–Maryland can win. I can’t wait for this one. Also this is the last game the Terps play without Dino.

To me however CJ Spiller was the story of the game. 4 TDs –over 200 yards rushing –and he did this all while hobbling with a turf toe!!! Here’s my Heisman opinions:
Colt McCoy—no way especially after he almost let the clock run out—-5th place
Tim Tebow—wasn’t impressed … Read More »
