It looks much like the prospects for an extremely powerful Ravens team this year are surfacing. You could also see this 3 years ago to a degree with McNair and Co. , culminating with the 13/3 record. . That season of course was marred by the overly conservative game plan of the Billick offense in the semifinal conference game against Indy. You have to be impressed by what we see so far even though the preseason is a ridiculous joke … Read More »
The Oriole are now 11-27 post all star game. Enough said.
I never like to overanalyze a schedule before the season, but this years Terrapin schedule is pretty typical. It has the usual run of 7 games before New Year’s that should be in the win column. Funny thing is that in the past few a loss in any of the 7 has been viewed as a disaster. Forget the fact Morgan Sytate was on fire last year from the 3 point line. Flacco picked apart the Jets repeatedly.
Great Statue of Liberty play to get a TD for Ray Rice. How in the worls did we get Ray Rice so late in the draft?
The 1st quarter was awesome –the rest of the … Read More »
The plethora of talent at the skill positions for Terrapin football is creating a healthy competition for depth chart rankings at the running back position.
The biggest improvement in the scrimmage Sunday was the running game. Redshirt freshman Gary Douglas had a team-best 122 yards on 17 carries, while Morgan Green ran for 56 yards on 10 carries. The two are … Read More »
Shaun Hill took the Terps to the Orange Bowl in his Senior year and now, at last, he has been named QB! for San Francisco beating out 1st draft pick Alex Smith. Hill has labored in the background throughout his 8 years in the NFL. When given the opporunities to start he has performed at high levels. He is a gutsy, clutch QB as he proved at Maryland. Good luck Shaun!!!!
