Lance Stephenson please read this article. Greivis Vasquez has denied making any plans to test the NBA waters on Sunday night. ” Greivis is all about Maryland. No NBA, No nothing is on my mind” Greivis is claiming he was misquoted . Listen to the audiogreivis-selection-sunday  I do believe that if Lance Stephenson declares his intention to attend Maryland, Greivis will end his NBA thoughts.

Grant Catalino scored 5 points and Travis Reed and Dan Groot added 3 goals apiece as Maryland rebounded from a lacklustre Saturday effort against UMBC to easily defeat Zack Greer and the Bryant Bulldogs. Today the attack was back as a smooth functioning unit. Senior Mike Griswold was given the task of covering Duke transfer Zack Greer and held the NCAA’s all-time leading goal scorer to two goals, while picking up two groundballs and causing a turnover. Jason carter went the distance … Read More »

In the end Duke shot 21 free throws to Maryland’s 9 and outscored the Terps 12-2 in a late game run. Eric Hayes kept the Terps within striking distance with his 20 points and stellar floor leadership. Greivis added 14 as Duke double teamed him constantly. So where does that leave Maryland, according to Joe Lunardi the Terps are in. The Terps still have to sweat out the selection. I will be at Comcast tonight and will provide  interviews on … Read More »

Can the Terps continue the ACC run against arch nemisis Duke. The great thing is that finally the Terps can play a non must win game. That being said perhaps the striped shirt guys won’t remove our best player from being a factor today. The Terps will be loose, confident , and revenge seeking today. It’s just impossible to keep up the pressure type games the Terps have been playing. Here are some comments on the Terps from the ESPN … Read More »

When I closed the show on Thursday night, my final comment was “Greivis will lead his troops into the big dance” Let all the Greivis detractors hide their heads in the sand. What a performance, a near triple double. Sean Mosley came up with a big 12 point game. But the “Maestro” Gary Williams thoroughly outcoached Dino Gaudio. Maryland answered the famous Wake 1-3-1 half court trap immediately with easy layups. THIS GAME WAS NEVER IN DOUBT!!! Wake Forest #9 … Read More »

Well it all comes down to tonight. Maryland must win and it will probably be a down to the wire affair. I posted the following on Thursday:  Simple game plan against Wake–get in the zone and just stay there. When Wake gets that offensive rebound use every big or semi big we have and hammer the Wake big guys. Make the Demon Deacons beat us from the foul line. Offensively , Gary will break down that 1-3-1 half court zone … Read More »

Adam Zagoria from zagsblog.com was on Terp Talk last night, speaking about Lance Stephenson. According to Adam the final decision will come down on March 21 after the NYC Basketball Championship. Some interesting notes on Born Ready:

Lance says his decision will be a shocker. It’s hard to speculate what that means.

According to zagsblog.com, Kansas has sent Danny Manning to New York to talk about the virtues of playing at Kansas.

Would the successful recruitment of Lance … Read More »

Eric and Greivis combined for 38 tonight as the Terrapins took step 1 towards Redemption by defeating the Wolfpack for the second time in 2 weeks. After trailing by double digits early, Greivis stepped up and began to manuever the ball to a open Eric Hayes who began his assault on the 3 point line. Dino Gregory contributed some strong minutes tonight for the Terps.  When Eric Hayes hits his 3s, the Terps win. Freshman Julius Mays ledthe  Wolfpack  with … Read More »
