In a tightly contested battle , Maryland was up on the Hoyas 7-6. I turned to the gentleman from Lacrosse magazine and said the next goal would dictate the game. The Terps had the ball-threw it away and the Hoyas started a 6 goal run, the first team to separate in a close game usually wins. Bryn Holmes controlled the draws 12-5 but it wasn’t enough as the Hoyas stifled Maryland’s vaunted attack and coasted to a 3 goal victory. … Read More »
This game bothers the heck out of me. So the #3 Tar Heels who gave up 91 points to this same Terrapin Team can’t lose. Believe Gary will find a way to keep the Terps in it. I believe the Terrapins are sick and tired of hearing how they have no chance. Sorry for my ranting, but I am reminded of Denny Green-these are the Tar Heels that can have a bad day. Do you think Ellington can have 2 … Read More »

I guess Terrell will have to play for a paltry 11 million this year. He’s upset. Why?
I would resign Kyle Boller as a backup. Troy Smith was never tested last year. Boller should be cheap enough to keep 3 QBs.
Tyson Chandler failed his physical so ex-Terps Joe Smith and Chris Wilcox return to obscurity in Oklahoma.
Arod makes 20 million or so. Do you think he could hire some better PR handlers.

Terrecne Oglesby had his 16 points but it was Trevor Booker who thoroughly dominated the Terps with 14 rebounds. The task ahead for the Terps has just doubled in difficulty with Carolina and Duke up next. The Terps hung in for the first half but a costly turnover just before halftime by Greivis let Clemson escape with a 6 point lead. Then the Terps missed 5 snowbird layups to start the 2nd half and that was that. Maryland falls to … Read More »

Maybe the Wizards will send Juan to the Hornets.
