The Maryland baseball team took both games of a doubleheader against Michigan State to secure a series sweep at Bob “Turtle” Smith Stadium Sunday afternoon.

The Terrapins (28-11, 12-3 Big Ten) have now won seven straight games overall and moved to 18-1 this season at home. Maryland has secured four home series sweeps this season.

The face off problem reared its head again as the Terps lost 18 of 25 including the face off in OT.

Matt Rambo was brilliant as usual scoring 3 and assisting on 2  Tim Rotanz added a hat trick for Md.

So Now it comes down to the Rivalry game next Saturday night at College Park. The winner is 4-1 and would thus probably share the Regular season title with OSU.
